A century later a woman and her black cat filled the home with velvet and candlelight, the smell of botanicals, and the radical idea that the world deserves rest. Hidden in the heart of Chattanooga, The Black Cat Spa & Lounge offers three moody decorated lounges where time moves differently and tea tastes like coming home. Their restorative massage and body rituals are unhurried spells — hand-blended scents and candles, warm steamed towels, and consent-based touch that listens as much as it heals. Linger over books. Sip something warm. Let the day dissolve into something that feels like childhood magic. This place was built for the dreamers, the creatives, the exhausted, and anyone who has pressed their nose to a cottage window and wished they could step inside. Guests enjoy: - Two hours of lounge access with any spa ritual - Herbal tea, water, fresh fruit and light snacks - Mini-library - Access to three shared lounge areas, including our introvert lounge for those who require a little more quiet. - Cozy upgrades like weighted eye pillows, weighted blankets, and botanical face masks are available. You're welcome to visit the Lounge even without booking a treatment—perfect for those who prefer to relax, read, or sip tea in good company. Before You Arrive: - Complimentary parking is available onsite, but we encourage carpooling due to limited spaces - Guests must be 16 or older - Please show up 15 minutes ahead of your reservation time - Feel free to bring cozy pj’s and a favourite book/journal to enjoy while relaxing in the lounges Planning a Visit with Friends? We currently offer one treatment room, so rituals are spaced throughout the day. Your group is welcome to come and go during your reservation window, and each guest can settle in comfortably between sessions. Want to Stay a Little Longer? Additional lounge hours are available for $10 per hour. While inspired by our black cat muse, the spa is a cat-free space Curious About Membership? Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge. That said, we understand that life happens. We’re happy to offer a one-time rescheduling as a courtesy. Just give us a call, and we’ll take care of you.
